Belagavi : To protest against the state government for not rolling back the Amended Bills of APMC and Land Reforms, the farmers under the banner of Karnataka Rajya Rait Sangh will agitate before Suvarna Vidhan Soudha from Monday. The Winter Legislative Session of the government will start in the soudha from Monday.
Speaking to news persons here on Sunday, farmer leader Kodihalli Chandrashekhar said the agitation before soudha would be till completion of the session. If not taken back the bills, the agitation named as “Mahapanchayat” would be conducted in every assembly constituency and black flags will be shown to chief minister and his cabinet members in their every programme.
He said both the amended bills will destroy the farming community. Those make empty the village for the capitalists and give them the market and farm land. Government is cheating farmers with such anti-people laws he said and appealed government to allow people to live peacefully.
He said farmers condemn Law and Parliamentary Affairs minister JC Madhuswamy’s statement who said it was not must to the state government to rollback the Amended Bills alike the central government.
