Demanding as the Panchamasali community has been deprived from the facilities of the govt. so it must be added to the 2A category of reservations in the leadership of the Jayamrutunjaya swamiji of the Kudalasangama Lingayat Panchamasali deck a fasting protest has been set in front of the SuvarnaSoudha of Belagavi.

The Swamiji and the protesters putting garlands to the Chennamma at Chennamma Circle of Belagavi went towards the Ambedkar Garden and putted garlands to the statute of Dr. B R Ambedkar and then to the Statue of Sangolli Rayanna at the Sangoli Rayanna and then later they travelled towards the Hirebagewadi and after paying garland respects to the Basaveshwar statue they travelled on bikes to the SuvarnaSoudha and set protest with the above demands.

At the protest the disciples of the swamiji as well as the public representatives of the Panchamasali community were present.
