Bagalkot : Three people entered into Narayanpur Reservoir in Bagalkot district on a mechanised boat to trace one of the persons drowned into the water were died with the electrocution in the water on Thursday.

Said to be mentally undound, Shivappa Amalur, 70, from Haranal in Talikoti taluk of Vijayapur district, got into the water and drowned. His son Yamanappa, 45, son-in-law Sharanagouda Biradar, 30, mechanised boat sailor Parashu had entered into water to trace him. However, due to electrocution they died. Wrong electrical fixation to the boat was said to be the cause for the incident.
