Vijayapur : Four people from Nanded in Solhapur in Maharashtra travelling in a Fortuner car where killed on the spot in the collision between Karnataka State Transport bus near Jumanal on national highway 52 in Vijayapur district early morning on Monday.

The bus from Naragund was hired for a wedding engagement at Vijayapur district was on its way back when it collided with the car. The was said to be in high speed.

The deceased have been identified as nephew of Nagatana MLA Devanand Chavan – Vijay Dodamani, 45, his friends Chidanand Nagesh Suryavanshi, 45, Somanath Kale, 43, and Sandeep Pawar, 49. A few in bus sustained minor injuries.
