Girish Hosur of Khanapur Origin and IFS officer has been appointed as the Commissioner of Banglore Development Authority. The additional responsibilities over the IFS Officer of Commissioner of the Banglore Development Authority have been transferred on Friday.

Hosur is presently working as the secretary of the CM, and he holding two designations at the same time has brought double pride to the Dist. The Hosur is basically a resident of Beedi Village of Khnapur taluk of Belagavi Dist. and holds the utter respect of serving both for state and the central govt.
