Good news for the Sabarimala Ayyappa devotees.

After the 7 month closure at the backgrounds of the lock-down due to the pandemic the Sabarimala Temple at Kerala has been reopened for 5 days monthly worship.

The temple committee has informed as 250 devotees are allowed per day inside the temple and those who are planning to visit the hill shrine should wear the masks and have to carry the Covid-19 negative certificates.

The strict protocols are being followed at the famous hill shrine due to the raising numbers of the Covid-19 positives. At Nilakall the base camp has been established for the rapid antigen test for those who aren’t carrying covid-19 negative reports.

The overnight stay at the temple and the ritual bath at the Pamba (Pampa) river has been discontinued.
