Home Minister Araga Jnanedra said government would not spare anyone involved in drug case and not entertain to any influence.

Speaking to news persons at Belagavi on Wednesday, he said a few from Kannada film industry caught in drug case. TV show anchor Anushree’s name was also said to be involved in the case. Whoever they may be, whatever influence they have would not be counted.

Anushree was said to be used her political links to not be listed in the case. However, a drug peddler who has been arrested told the anchor Anushree also have drug and carry it. The minister said there was no question of dropping anyone’s name from the Charge Sheet.

As there was a demand from Hindu outfits to extend the celebration of Ganesh festival to 10 days from 5 days, he said government would decide based on the report of the experts’ committee.

He thanked people of Belagavi for choosing BJP in the election to Belagavi civic body.
