Govt Not to Allow Permission for ‘Black Day’ Observation on Rajosthava Day

The government will not allow anti-state organisation Maharashtra Ekikaran Samiti and Maharashtra political party Shiva Sena to observe ‘Black Day’ on Karnataka Rajosthava day on Nov 1.

Addressing the Kannada activists on celebrating Karnataka Rajosthava in the district, at Belagavi on Tuesday Deputy Commissinor MG Hiremath said the day would be celebrated in grand manner.

Kannada activists said government should not restrict the celebration by mentioning covid. Entire city should be decorated with colour lights and Kannada flags must be afixed on all the government offices, elected representstives, educational institutions and commercial establishment. Each and every officer must take part in the celebration and all the educational institutions be compulsorily celebrate the day. No one should be allowed to hold any kind of anti-state events.
