As the countdown to the Mysore Dasara has begun with the proper guidelines of the govt. amid the pandemic the five Dasara Elephants led by the Abhimanyu have reached the Palace Premises on Saturday.
Every year the elephants used to reach the Palace with the march through the main roads of the City but this time they were directly carried to the palace in the trucks due to the pandemic. All the five elephants were traditionally welcomed at the Jayamarthanda gate of the palace. This ceremony has started the countdown of the most awaited Nada Habba Dasara. The festival will begin form 17th of this month and the Jambu Sawari will be held on 26th of the same month.
