The celebration of Ex PM Indira Gandhi’s 103rd Birth Anniversary was organized at the KPCC Office today. The Congress leaders of the state including Senior Congress Leader Mallikarjun Kharge and Ex CM Siddramaiah paid the floral respects to the portrait of Indira Gandhi.
After the event the Senior Congress Leader Mallikarjun Kharge took a strict class of the leaders of the party over the failures of the elections and unsuccessfulness of the unification.
He said the local leaders should take responsibilities and instead of that if they blame the seniors and become irresponsible about them then the party won’t succeed. If the theory of the party misses the track then the distraction of the party is assured. We should respect our seniors and should strengthen the party in our constituency. One should not try to skip his responsibilities putting it on other’s shoulders.
He added the local leaders aren’t selecting a single corporator, and if the selected candidate fails to win then they are holding the Sonia Gandhi and the Rahul Gandhi responsible for it. It is you who select the candidate but blame the senior leaders when they lose. Is Rahul Gandhi the state leader? He asked the leaders fiercely.
