The Indira Canteens established by the congress that provided quality food at the lower prices were shut for some reasons. After the closure of the Indira Canteen the Karnataka Congress has announced about the Congress Office Canteen or Congress Bhavan Canteen at Belagavi
Speaking about the canteen and the intentions of the canteen the Yamakanmardi MLA and KPCC Working President Satish Jarkiholi at the Belagavi said it is for the 1st time that such a canteen has been established at the Congress office. The Office Canteen is different from the Indira Canteen here we will be providing the quality food at lower prices.
He further added as the Canteen is banner has 6 major leaders photos in it which is made to let the public know the slight history of the Congress. The canteen is established with some major motifs like providing better quality food for the public at lower prices. Smilingly to the question of the reporters as whether the canteen either the canteen is just veg or both he said it is both veg and non-veg canteen. The prices of the dishes are lower compared to other hotels or canteen and giving hints of some items he said might have reduced the rates more but it becomes difficult to maintain the quality.
