A Vijayotsava that is celebrated all over the state as an indication of the 1st victory over the draconian rule of the British Empire by the Brave Kitturu Rani Chennamma was also organized at the Mother town of the Rani Chennamma. The event was inaugurated by the DC M G Hiremath and many dignitaries piad respect to the brave queen Chennamma.
The DC M G Hiremath and Police Commissioner Tyagrajan inaugurated the event by lightening the lamps and the DC as well as the other Police Officials paid the floral respect to the statue of the great Kitturu Rani Chennamma that is situated in the Desai Galli of Kakati.
