The Belgaum Pastor and Christian Leaders’ Association on Saturday observed the “Indian Christians’ Day” to mark the martyrdom of St Thomas, by distributing fruits, milk, snacks to the COVID patients at the district hospital.
Association President Pastor T Thomas preached the gospel of the Almighty God to the infeced and prayed for their early recovery.
Christians all over the nation, from this year are observing July 3 as the ” Indian Christians’ Day” to mark the death day of Lord Jesus’ disciple St Thomas who was brutally killed in Chennai on July 3.
St Thomas, to preach the word of Jesus, had arrived to nation through Kerala in the 52nd year of the first century and was murdered by the anti-christ fundamentalists in Mailapur in Tamilnadu ( now Chennai ) on July 3, 72.The Christians of the world will also celebrate the the current decade as -Christ-2000- as the year 2030 completes the 2000 years of arrival of Jesus Christ to the world. The decade programme include regular prayer for the mankind, social work, welfare of the nation, peace to the world.
