The Belagavi Unit of Karnataka State Farmers Union in coordination with the Dalit Sangharsh Samiti and KRV (Karnataka Rakshana Vedike) called for a organized a press meet to inform about the protest they are about hold tomorrow as a support to the Karnataka Bandh, condemning of the Acts passed by the State Govt. and Central Govt. regarding the Land Reform and APMC.

The Presidents of the Unions informed as they will be heading to Suvarna VidhanaSoudha with a protest rally starting from the Chennama Circle. The Presidents of the Union have requested all the shopkeepers to support the protest against the anti farmer acts by keeping their shops off.

After the press meet the leaders of the Unions went to the Chennamma Circle of the City omitting the contempt slogans of the State and Central Govt.
