At backgrounds of the Allahabad High Court’s decision as the religious conversion for the sake of marriage was illegal the Karnataka Tourism Minister and the BJP national general secretary taking to the twitter has said Karnataka will soon enact the law banning religious conversion for the sake of marriage.

He tweeted as ‘On lines of Allahabad High Court’s order, Karnataka will enact a law banning religious conversions for the sake of marriage. We will not remain silent when Jihadis strip the dignity of Our Sisters.’

He added as ‘anyone involved in the act of conversion shall face severe & swift punishment.’
