Belagavi city police Commissionerate and
National Federation of Indian Women conducted womens safety awareness program in belagavi.
To prevent and control the various crimes against women and children ,Belagavi City Police along with National Federation of Indian Women NGO have taken the intiative to conduct legal awareness programs for women and children at various villages and city areas.legal Awarness were given on
1. Domestic violence
2. Rape cases, POCSO
3. Trafficking of women.
4. Cyber crimes
5. Traffic rules
6.personal care and observation by mothers to their girl child.
7.Prevention of Illegal activities & Role of women
8. Eve teasing.
9. Child marriages & Child Labour Acts.the first program was held On 16th August legal awarness program was conducted at Belvatti and Bijgarni village.and second program was held On 17th August sonoli and Belgundi village & On18th August at . Macche villag and on Friday the program was conducted at Kadoli and Kednoor villages.
This awareness campaign will continue and will cover all villages & city areas under Belagavi city Commissionerate said DCP L & O Dr. Vikram Amathe, National Federation of Indian Women Secretary for Karnataka state Ms.Pramoda Hazare ,
