Some major decisions have been taken by the Belagavi DC M G Hiremath today in regards of HIV Positives and TB.
The DC instructed to make the facilitates made for the HIV/AIDS positive patients including Ration Cards, Medical Assistance, School Admission, Scholarships, Houses under the Housing plans by the Govt.
He instructed such at the Convention held at the DC Office’s conference hall on Thursday. He also warned the private hospital of cancelling the licenses of the private hospital that reject to provide if rejected the treatment of the HIV Positives.
He further added about the TB and said from 1st December an active Tuberculosis Detection Movement will be started.
Speaking at the Conference hall of the DC Office again the DC in three stages the Tuberculosis Detection Movement will be started.
From December 1-10 the movement will be started at Athani, Hukkeri, Gokak, Bailhongal, and Belagavi city level. From 11-20 the movement will be held at Kagawad, Chikkodi, Mudalgi, Raibag, Ramdurga and Belagavi rural areas. The same way from 21-31 the movement will be held at Nippani, Kittur, Khanapur and savadatti.
He also appealed the private hospital to join hands and cooperate them in the movement.
