The Zakriya Masjid at Azam nagar conducted a vaccination drive against COVID-19 for the second time at the masjid premises on Saturday. First and Second doses were immunised in the drive.

Speaking on the occasion, Zakriya Masjid Committee President Akbal Bagawan said the committee had organised the drive for the second time as many were not yet taken. Getting vaccinated was very important to get avoided from becoming the victim to the pandemic.

As found many vaccinated moving as if nothing could happen to them, he said a few who got vaccinated also detected positive, getting vaccinated and strictly following the COVID-19 norms could saved people from the virus.

Social worker Imran Fatekhan said the drive was organized for the second time with an intention to immunise everyone. The drive got good response as many were immunized. He also appealed to people to join the committee’s drive of keeping the city healthy and clean.
