On one side the Smart City project is moving forward with all its rage but on the other side some roads connecting the rural areas have been completely ignored. The hundreds of the locals who pass through the roads of Mandoli road of the Belagavi are carrying the risk of their lives while travelling through the completely damaged road.

The road connecting to the Mandoli and Hangarga by the Bhavani Nagar of Belagavi has been heavily destructed due to continuous rain by which the locals are facing many problems. The locals have alleged as the ignorance of the Local MLAs is the main reason they are facing such hurdles and have demanded for the repair of the road and to provide a safe facility of travelling.
