The MLA Satish Jarkiholi initiated the establishment of the Shivaji Maharaj Statue at Honaga of Belagavi Taluk by performing Bhumi Pujan.

The MLA paid visit to the Honaga on the locals appeal and performed the Bhumi Pujan at the Bhairavnath Chowk of Honaga.

Speaking by the time he said the Shivaji is one of the great heroes of the nation. He had a dream of overall development binding all the communities together. In almost all the talukas the statue of such a rebellious hero is being established in the same the establishment of the statue at Honaga is joyous.
