Utilizing the benefit that all would pass, a mother from Hassan district attended the SSLC examination with her son and passed the examination.

CN Third from Laxmipuram in Hassan taluk had left her education at Std 8, however, applied for the examination with her son BR Hemant and passed the examination. Thirth got 235 marks of 625 while son 562.

Thirth wrote examination at Ranghanath high school in Ballupeth and her son Sri Malleshwar high school at Valalahalli.

Mother Thirth used to read her son’s textbooks and he too helped her in studies.
She said she had decided to attend examination with her son, and amid household work used to study when got time. “The COVID-19 benefit helped me to complete my SSLC”, she said.
