The first in the nation, the garden for physically handicapped and special children will be dedicated on Sunday. Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai will inaugurate the garden at Mahatma Pule garden in Shahapur.

Belagavi South BJP MLA Abhay Patil said the garden has been made to avoid parents of the physically handicapped, special children from feeling bad after seeing normal children with their children in regular garden.

MLA Patil said a proposal to establish an IT Park in Belagavi in an estimated cost of Rs 774 crore. Discussion with Union Defence minister will be done shortly. About a lakh unemployed people could get jobs with the establishment of the park.
