The Nippani Town Municipal Council which had appointed a MCA graduate woman as a headmistress to its Municipal Primary School in 2017 removed her from the services stating “Her Qualification Not Suit for Teaching School Children”.

Shamala Arjun Kamble from Nippani who was appointed as headmistress visited houses and admitted them to the government school. The strength crossed 400 from below 200. The learning ability, quality of the students was also changed. Parents were happy with the educational growth of their wards.

Though the headmistress did more than what the teachers with suitable teaching qualification do, was made to go out from the school because of her qualification. She was appointed when Congress was in rule and now axed in BJP rule.
