Not Yet Given Permission, MES All Set for Monday “Mahamelawa”

Belagavi : Parallel to Karnataka’s Legislative Session at Belagavi, the Maharashtra Ekikaran Samiti will organise a public meeting “Mahamelawa” at Vaccine Depot in Tilakwadi at 11am on the first day of the session on Monday.

Though not yet got the permission, the stage has been erected and mike, loud speaker arrangement have been made. The organisation said though not given it would conduct the meet. Government, during all last meets gave the permission at the last moment by than the organisation keep complete all the arrangement.

The samiti has invited Maharashtra ministers Ekanath Shinde, Hassan Mushrif and Chhagan Bhujabal and few other leaders of that state.

Samiti leader Deepak Dalavi said to protest the Legislative Session here the pro-Maharashtrians in Karnataka conduct the “Mahamelawa” on the first day of every session. Karnataka, amid oppose from the pro-Maharashtrians conduct the session here for which they organise the meet parallel to the session.

Tilakwadi Inspector Raghavendra Havaldar said CCTV cameras have been afixed in the vicinity of the venue and police will be deployed in all sensitive places. Trouble makers will not be spared.
