Belagavi : The Omicron Variant of Coronavirus has been found in a 52-year-old Nigerian man who arrived to Belagavi from his place on Dec 13.

He was found infected when his swab was tested for RT-PCR. The swabs of ten people who were in his first contect were also sent to test.

The infected is undergoing in an isolated ward at the district hospital.
