The Liver of a brain -dead patient was transported from Belagavi kle Dr prabhakar kore hospital and medical research centre in Belagavi to Hubbali Airport.

In a record 55 minutes with the aid of Belagavi and Hubballi-Dharwad Police. An organ was transported from  9.50  am KLE Prabhakar Kore Hospital in Belagavi  at aroundto Hubballi airport on Monday.

A green corridor was built between the two cities so that the liver of a brain dead patient could arrive in Bengaluru on a flight from Hubballi airport at 11:40 a.m. At 11 a.m., the organ arrived at the airport.

The liver would be used for a patient at Bengaluru’s BGS Global Hospital, according to sources.
