Balakrishna Nagesh Shetty at Laxmi nagar in Vadagavi who was running a Paan shop was stabbed to death by one of his customer for not giving him things on credit late night on Tuesday.

Balakrishna Shetty was attacked with knief by Dattatreya alias Datts Shivanand Jantikatti of Bharat nagar in Vadagavi at his house at around 11pm. Datta Jantikatti was an old customer of Balakrishna Shetty who used to get things in credit. He quarrelled with Shetty as he could not given things on credit and intentionally said he lost his cellphone ehich the latter had taken. Shetty who not wanted to continue the argument closed his shop and went home, however, Jantikatti followed him and attacked with the knief at his home.

The Shahapur police have taken Datta Jantikatti into custody.
