Reporting to the medias about the raid on the Matka Junction Belagavi DCP Dr. Vikram Amte said the special operation are being held in the city especially with regards to the marijuana and gambling under the guidance of City Commissioner, recently some gambling junctions have been ambushed and in a similar way a Matka junction was ambushed at which a kingpin named Mohammed Shafi Tashildar along with other 22 members have been arrested and nearly 2-lakh something cash amount and the mobiles and some other materials have been detained and a case has been registered in the Market Police Station.

He further requested the civilians to inform the officials if they have any information regarding the marijuana and any other illegal activities at the city.

At last the DCP assured as with the public support they will be successful in getting hold on all the illegal activities in the city.
