To protest against disruption of statue of Chatrapati Shivaji at Bengaluru, the Kannadigas hotels at Kolhapur in Maharashtra have been forcibly closed since Friday night.

Anticipating attack on hotels by Shivasena, police forcibly closed the hotel and instructed not to reopen until the situation turn to normalcy.

While, the bus services between both the states stopped. Karnataka running buses till Nippani and Maharashtra till its border town Kagal. The movement of private vehicles is also less.
