Belagavi : The interest that police showed on the first day of the two day weekend corona curfew was seen declined on Sunday as people moving as usual that there was no curfew prevention. Police whose response was extreme on Saturday was not seen on Sunday as they seen relaxing at their posting places.

Though not as usual, people seen moving on all the roads, vehicular movement was also uninterrupted. Police were seen in all the major places with erected barricades.

There was heavy rush at the newly started Jai Kissan vegetable market near Gandhi nagar. Most among them seen not wore the facemask. Though government said it has deployed the officials of Belagavi City Corporation as Nodal Officers to ensure people wear the mask, no one seen in the vegetable wholesale market. While, their duty is being done by police fining on the violators.
