Appealing for the fulfillment of various demands the Anganwadi Workers and Helpers Federation have set protest at the DC office of Belagavi. The Federation President and Vice Presidents issued a memo to the Govt. through the DC.

The protestors had six different demands noted mainly in the memo which are as followed

1. To start LKG/UKG at Anganwadi Centres and must reclaim the ISDC Scheme.
2. To provide training to the Anganwadi Workers.
3. To provide Text Books.
4. To distribute uniforms to the Children.
5. To issue orders as to get TC form the Anganwadis for the Admission of Primary Schools.
6. To provide honorarium to the Anganwadi Wokers and Helpers of Belagavi Rural.

By the time the Dist. President of the Federation Nagesh N Sateri, Vice President Y B Shigihalli, Minaxi Kotagi, taluk Secretary of the Federation Sujata Belagavkar and the many workers and the Helpers of Anganwadi Centers were present.
