Today at the Athani taluk of the Belagavi the Dalit Sangharsh Samiti held a protest condemning the gang rape of a 19 year old Dalit Woman at U P.

Uttering the knock back of the U P CM Adityanath and the BJP govt. the Dalit Sangharsh Samiti held a protest rally at the Athani and appealed for the execution of the accusers.

Way-faring from the Jyothiba Phule circle the protestors went to the Ambedkar Circle and after the floral tributes to the statue of Dr. B R Ambedkar lightened the candles and prayed for the peace of the victim’s soul.

The protesters submitted the memo to the Tahshildar of Athani and appealed the President to withdraw the Aditynath govt. form U P.

Speaking by the time the leader Shashi Salave of the organization said, there is a history of the protests to guard the dignity of a woman in the nation. Even though Dr. B R Ambedkar has given the constitution of the democracy and the equality, yet the atrocity over the Dalit woman has taken place at U P for more than two days. And we strongly condemn this, the U P CM that is asserting such rape cases should hail the ethical responsibility and resign immediately.
