The Pre-university courses in the district having less than 2% Covid Positivity will reopen the academic from Monday, Aug 23.

The government in its guidelines issued to PU Board instructed to run first three day classes for 50% and next three days for other 50% students. The classes were also run online for the students whose days were off.

Few among the conditions laid are:

* Parents permission must to attend the classes.

* COVID-19 Negative report must to the students.

* Not more than 100 students accommodated in a classroom.

* Mask, Sanitisation must inside the class and thermal test must before entering the classroom.

* Classes to all the students cloud be arranged throughout the week if classrooms are big.

* Each staff must immunised the vaccine.

* Entire premises must be santised everyday before start of the day.

The state on Tuesday, Aug 28, had 21,266 active covid cases which positibity rate was 0.76%
