At the backgrounds of the sandalwood drugs case the Police dept. as well as the Excise dept has started a massive operation around the state. They are conducting raids at many areas on the information by the sources and are successfully breaking through the web of seductive.

At such backgrounds the Excise Police has been successful in detaining the huge amount of marijuana along with arresting the accused at the yard in the outskirts of the Satti Village of Athani taluk.

The accuser namely Devappa Erappa Rudragoudar had grown the marijuana in between the sugarcane at his yard. On the firm news the Excise Police made a team and has attacked the yard of the accuser from where they have detained around 130 kg of Marijuana.
