The residents of Angol area at Belagavi have gathered at the DC office premises to appeal the DC to provide basic facilities at the Urban Health Center.
They brought the situations into the notice of the DC saying, in Angol Area, so many localities are slum areas, and people are unaware of hygienic, hence there is every day increase in the pandemic diseases, due to climatic conditions people are suffering from cough, weakness, body pain, head ache, etc., and the doctors are not ready to check the said penitents, and so many senior citizens are losing their lives, every day nearly 8 to 10 deaths are occurring in Angol area. They inferred the DC as they have conducted a meeting of the residents and have taken the decision. They have decided to implement LOCK DOWN for a period of 7 days, but due to public demand, they have dropped it.
In Angol Area, the Doctors are referring the patients as COVID and are suggesting them to make test or admit to Civil /KLE Hospital, for which people are worrying and loosing the hope of their life.
They further informed as there is an URBAN HEALTH CENTRE, where 10 beds facility is available, and there is a Lab as well to check proceed swab test, now they are testing only those who are in contact with POSITIVE CASES, but they are not checking other public who are suffering from ailments, they appealed to instruct the doctors to conduct lab test of emergency cases (Pregnant women), and the patients suffering from cough and cold and to provide sufficient Oxygen to the Center, if any shortage, we will make arrangement to provide Oxygen and make additional arrangement of Doctors and sisters to the Centre.
Finally the locals requested to instruct the Commissioner, City Corporation, Sanitary Inspectors of Ward No. 4 to 8 to sanitize the entire area and keep cleanliness, to take precaution of the spread of pandemic, Dengue disease and we request to instruct the Police Department that some people are wondering without wearing masks, which is dangerous to them as well as public, hence instruct the Police Department to take strict action, against the people who are wondering without mask.
