Rich tributes to eminent Jesuit priest Jacob Carvalho at the condolence meeting – Belagavi.



Rich tributes were paid to eminent Jesuit priest and former principal of St Paul’s High School Rev Fr. Jacob Carvalho at the condolence meeting that was held at St Paul’s PU College in Belagavi on Wednesday.

The management and staff members of the college expressed condolence for the death of Fr Jacob Carvalho by the time they remembered him for the role he played throughout his life, for his exemplary works in the field of education and in serving society selflessly, especially for the underprivileged and needy of the society.

Rector and manager of St Paul’s and principal of the college Rev Fr Ronald D’souza described him as priest with simplicity, and offered floral tribute to the photo of Late Fr Carvalho. Offering tributes Prof Padmini Ravindran described him as inspirer of thousands.

Former Vice principal of St Paul’s Rev Fr Matthew Bardeskar described Fr Jacob as a living saint who inspired thousands of students also brought happiness to many. “We thank God Almighty for giving us a person like Fr Carvalho and seek Eternal Rest as he has left for heavenly abode,” Fr Matthew ascertained.
