The schools from Grade 9 to 12 recommended after the closure of almost one-and-half-year for COVID-19 pandemic reopened in the state from Monday, Aug 23. As the classes must go-on in two phases, the first session has got a good response while it was considered in private schools. Many students arrived schools with a curiosity.Many educational institutions including government schools were cleaned, decorated to welcome back the students. The state has16,000 schools and 5,000 PU colleges with total about 25 lakh students. Each batch to be held with 50% capacity.

Students attended mass prayers and general assembly went to their classes and sat on the desks arranged according to social distance norms.
