Shikaripur the constituency Yeddyurappa representing observing bandh on its leader’s resignation. All the commercial establishments have been closed suo-moto.

Yeddyurappa fans wept and expressed angry on BJP high command for removing him from the post asking “what was the wrong he made to Resign for his post”.

Many spoke to media said the people of Karnataka did not knew BJP and RSS. Both got introduced in the state because of Yeddyurappa. It is Yeddyurappa who constructed the party and became the chief minister. “He became the sambrat to the sambraj which he constructed”, they said. As Yeddyurappa was emotional and wept while addressing the function organised to celebrate completion of his two-year in-office they expressed disappointment with the way their leader was made to tender the resignation.

They said that Congress and JD(S) told that BJP would be “No More” in the state if Yeddyurappa was removed would definitely come true. They challenged PM Modi and Amit Shah to campaign and bring back the party to power, without Yeddyurappa the party would not comes to power.
