To drag the attention of the government toward their social concern demand, the Bagalkot block of Karnataka Rakshana Vedike has opted an unique method of polishing the shoe of the chief minister of the state.

About a dozen activists been to the Visveswaraiah Technological University where Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai is staying were stopped by the police at the main entrance of the campus and recovered the polish boxes and the polishing brushes after told the reason for why they have came.

The vedike has started “Shoe Polish” campaign against Bagalkot MLA Veeranna Charantimath for his alleged negligence toward taking their demand to the higher level. The organisation want a government medical college at their town where poor talented can get medical education.
