A car in which PWD Engineers from Shirazi, Siddapur, and Mundagod taluks were traveling to attend COVID-19 and Rain and Flood meetings scheduled at district headquarters at Karwar on Saturday, Aug 7, met an accident in which Assistant Executive Engineering from Siddapur, Mudukannavar killed on the spot.

The car turned turtle near Baleguli cross near Ankola. Those others in the car injured in the accident have been admitted to a hospital at Mangaluru.
