At the background of the simple and the unornamented celebrations amid Covid-19 all over the state the Karnataka Rajyotsava was held in a same manner at the Athani Taluka by the Taluka Administration following the Covid-19 Guidelines.

Many local dignitaries participated in the event and mended their views on the Kannada language and Karnataka. They recalled the flights done for the unity of the Karnataka and said the event that is supposed to be celebrated with all its grandness is being celebrated in a simple manner due to the Covid-19.
