The state govt. has issued orders hiking the power rate. At all the ESCOM companies the rates have been hiked. The Karnataka State Electricity Regulatory Commission has hiked the rates on the proposal of the power supply companies and the new rates have been implemented since 1st of the November.
40 paisa has been raised per unit and thinking as the public will become outrageous whilst the by elections the state govt. had held the proposal and soon after the elections it has approved the hike proposal and has issued the orders.
