Aiming on power at election-bound Uttarakhand, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has announced 1 lakh jobs in six months and monthly allowance of Rs 5,000 to the unemployed youths if his Aam Aadhmi Party (AAP) was voted power.
During his visit to Haldwani in Uttarakhand on Sunday Kejriwal revealed his six mega plans if voted to power. He said unemployed youths will be given jobs. Those who are unemployed will be given a monthly allowance of Rs 5,000. Youths of Uttarakhand will be given 80 per cent reservation in government and private jobs in the state.
He said he will provide 1 lakh jobs in six months and will launch a job portal for the youths of the state.
“The youths of Uttarakhand are migrated to other states due to lack of employment and they could be employed in their state if there is a government with clear intentions,” Kejriwal tweeted ahead of his visit.
Kejriwal has promised to provide 300 units of free electricy per month to every connection holder.
