The officials of the Karnataka State Forest Department of Belagavi division have set a protest in front of the Chief Conservator Office Belagavi asking to provide justice to them. They also appealed the Principal Chief Conservator of Forests Banglore through the memo.

It is said as one side the officers appointed since 1999 to the Belagavi division have not received any promotions on the other side the fresh appointed with the same ranks of the other circles have not just got the promotions but have been appointed as the senior officers to the Belagavi division. The officers said it is a pure injustice to them and set a protest in front of the Chief Conservator Office at Belagavi.

They appealed as to provide them justice by giving them promotions to the senior ranks and to send back the seniors to their previous divisions.
