Saying as strangling the expression freedom of the opposition the state govt. is about to kill the democracy by accepting the farmer’s death penalty kind of act the Ex CM Siddramaiah expressed his anger.

With the series of tweets the Ex CM has appealed about a detailed discussion of three major amendment acts at Session and questioned as why the central govt. is stepping back from fulfilling the demand of the verification of the acts by selection commission. He said the 80% of the fragile, helpless and disunited famers can’t operate by themselves. The dismantling of the APMC which used to do such work is like dismantling the whole of agriculture field.

He said the amendment act is like opening the main doors for the private companies that always wanted to operate without the control of APMC.

He further warned as the Congress will be opposing the act inside and outside of both the houses of Parliament with the coordination of the equal minded unions.
