The research team (IMCT) led by the Joint Secratory of the Central Home Ministry K V Pratap has arrived to Belagavi and visited the places affected by the deluge and flood.
The team arrived to Belagavi Circuit House through Sambra airport by the time a team led by the Regional Commissioner Amlan Aditya Biswas and Dist. Commissioner M G Hiremath and the senior officials was present at the Circuit House where they reported the team about the affects of flood and deluge.
By the time Govt. Chief Whip Karnataka Legislative Council gave the additional information about the arrival of the team and said, the team is going to visit the Gokak, Hukkeri and Savadatti Taluks of the dist. the central team has already been reported about the losses of lives, roads, crops and other properties caused by the floods in the Krishna, Ghataprabha, Vedganga, Doodhganga and Malaprabha rivers. He pleaded the team to visit Ramdurga which is the most affected taluk in the dist.
The central team is first visiting Hukkeri after that Gokak and Savadatti taluk and the villages.
