The Major Cities of Karnataka to have separate burial grounds for the Covid-19 fatalities.


On behalf of the struggles of the crematoriums to keep up the pace of surging Covid-19 fatalities the Karnataka state govt. has decided to set up separate burial ground and crematoriums.

The municipal administration and the urban development departments have been ordered to look up for the open lands for the disposal of the Covid-19 fatalities. The officers have reported as the idea is for the dignified farewell of the fatalities and is equally response to the locals who were against the cremations of the fatalities in the common burial grounds as per their safety.

The burial grounds and the crematorium are estimated to be built under the cost of 25-30 lakhs each. The officers also said as the plan may comfort all those who will to pay last rites for their lost ones.
