The Police have once again attacked the house of Matka king Shafi at Khanjar Galli, Belagavi. The Officers have arrested the accused and have detained mobiles and the materials used for the gambling game called Satta Matka. The locals have kept talking as such raids are common with the arrival of any new official.

The alleges are being heard as the illegal activities at Belagavi are rising day – day including drugs marijuana Matka and other gambling games. There were strong alleges as Satta Matka is being run without any stoppages. The ambush on the Matka junctions has become common with the arrival of any new officer. The same tradition has been followed by ambushing the matka junction by the team of a new DCP of Belagavi Dr. Vikram Amte. The police officers ambushed the house of matka king Shafi and have detained the mobiles and the materials used at the spot and have took the accused to the custody.

The locals spoke by the time and said it is not the first time the officers have ambushed the houses of kingpins, but this time it is with the new officer. To completely stop the illegal activities at Belagavi an officer who can take strict actions is essential. Though the work of police is appreciable but must not be restricted to one day and just one place.

At last the locals appealed as all the illegal activities must be stopped at Belagavi.
