Facing at a time attack from all sides her to snatch her post by light and heavy wings in BJP, Laxmi Hebbalkar the Congress MLA from Belagavi, hitting her ‘enemies’ wisely which is being appriciated even by common from her village constituency.

Defeated to former BJP MLA Sanjay Patil in his second term, she did not remained calm. The next day of the announcement of the result of her defeat in the election, she expressed not her sorrow and kept continued her social work in the constituency which resulted to her unexpected victory in the last election against the former by margin of nearly about 40,000 votes.

Gokak MLA Ramesh Jarkiholi who than was the In-charge minister of the district was working with ‘Mission Dozen’ to win at least 12 off 18 seats in the district has won very few including Laxmi’s constituency. Though

While, over hard political developments led with a local bank administration body with the entry of DK Shivakumar who backed Laxmi, Jarkiholi became the enemy of Laxmi, collapsed JD(S), Congress coalition government and established BJP government on many occasion repended for elected Laxmi and said his one of the aims was to defeat her in the next election to give justice to former BJP MLA Patil. In several public meetings and news conferences he confessed to defeating Patil and correct the mistake in next election.

However, after landed in a major scandal he remained off the political activities which made to be active former Bajarangdal office bearer Dhananjay Jadhav who using each and every movement that occurring in the constituency from which he proposed to contest.

To maintain his power in the constituency, Sanjay Patil who wanted to contest again has got stunned and trying to counter Jadhav.

While, former Belagavi BJP MP Suresh Angadi’s daughter Shradha who is a daughter-in-law of former Chief Minister, MLA Jagadish Shettar also showing interest to contest from the same constituency. If given ticket to Shradha, there are possibilities from both Sanjay Patil and Hindu activist Dhananjay Jadhav to work as an ‘under corrent’ to defeat the former so that they can get an opportunity in next election and to be the worker of the party if she won. The enthusiasm in BJP to contest from her constituency would definitely help Laxmi to retain her post.
