Two boys have lost their lives due to drowning in the brook at the Shidegali village of Khanapur taluka.

It is reported as the two that have lost their lives are Arfat Shakil Ali Arkatti (16) of Jalakawad and Umer Mutak Khalifa (16) of Bazarpet. The two victims were missing since they had been to swimming to the Halotri Brook on Saturday and though the family had tried to search them it hadn’t got any information. On the suspicions of the death at the brook when the inspection had took place their mobile phones and the dresses at the edge of the brook led to the suspicion their drowning in the water.

A search operation was started since Saturday night and finally today on Monday the bodies have been found near Asoga. The incident has that too in a festive season has highly saddened the families.
